Tetrion All Purpose Filler is the same tried and trusted formulation which has been the “go to” for trade decorators and DIY enthusiasts for years. It’s the ideal choice for projects where a versatile, multi surface filler is required. Specially designed to give a super smooth, polymer re-enforced, permanent finish for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Directions for use: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from loose material. Remove all decayed wood down to a dry, sound material. Allow damp wood to dry thoroughly before applying filler. Prime any metals (e.g. screwheads) with a metal paint primer before filling to avoid rust. Add 2 to 2.5 parts Tetrion All Purpose Filler to 1 part water. Mix thoroughly to form a smooth paste, adding more water or powder as necessary. paste remains workable for up to 1 hour. Do not use excessive water when mixing. use a stiffer mix with less water for wood, large repairs or vertical surfaces. Apply with a knife and fill to a level just above that of the surrounding surface. Smooth off with a wet blade. Setting occurs in a bout 2 hours depending on atmospheric conditions. hardened filler can be sanded to form a smooth finish. When carrying out deeper repairs (greater than 10mm) fill in layers, smooth the final layer with a wetted knife. After use, fold over sachet in carton to prevent moisture attacking the powder. Store in dry conditions and protect from frost.

Advice: Tetrion All Purpose Filler should be applied in layers of no less than 3mm and no greater than 10mm to ensure satisfactory performance. Do not use in wet or damp conditions. Where rain, moisture or condensation is expected, cover the surface with a waterproof material until the filler is hard. When filling deep holes or cracks, leave for 24 hours before overpainting. Do not add previously mixed filler to a freshly prepared mix. Do not return mixed filler to the original sachet. Do not use in temperatures below 5°C. Overpaint with an oil-based paint when using externally. Prime with a suitable sealer when overpainting with a water-based paint. Do not use on surfaces regularly underwater and do not sandwich between layers of paint. Use within 6 months of purchase.
